Brewed in the Beginning

Once upon a time

when hops and barleys courted

they made a date for Halloween.

​

While swooning over their match,

heavenly made, they came face to face

with the Great Pumpkin Itself.

​

Trembling with awe,

they felt themselves foam

into a mighty Double IPA,

​

and poured their hearts out

into that giant cavernous gourd

to be forever labeled

​

in cities and towns

on poor farms and at fancy bars,

the best pour of Octoberfest.
